Our Story in Ubatuba
AGaleria Ubatuba began in June 2022, when a space dedicated to art and culture took shape at Ribeira Mall in Saco da Ribeira. Over the following months, the venue was renovated and its first exhibitions were developed around a clear purpose: bringing artists, artworks and audiences closer together.
The gallery officially opened on November 27, 2022, with A Arte dos Arquétipos (The Art of Archetypes), a group exhibition curated by Adriana Scartaris and Oscar D'Ambrosio. On view through January 2023, it launched a journey shaped by encounters, diverse artistic voices and new cultural connections. The Art of Archetypes, que permaneceu em cartaz até janeiro de 2023. In the years that followed, AGaleria hosted group exhibitions, live music, workshops and creative experiences featuring artists from Ubatuba and beyond. Highlights included Reflexões (Reflections), Múltiplos Territórios (Multiple Territories) and Oceanos (Oceans), performances by Leo Susi and guests, Sylvia Patricia, Ney Marques and Osny Melo, and painting workshops led by Bia Campacci. The physical venue completed its cycle in August 2024, but the story continued. AGaleria became nomadic, bringing art, curatorial projects and creative experiences into homes, businesses and distinctive spaces — while staying true to its purpose of connecting people through art.
