International Performances

Brazilian artists performing internationally, connecting production, partnerships and new audiences.

International performances have played an important role in Árvore Cultural’s history. At different times, the company has brought together artists, managers, local partners and opportunities abroad, helping Brazilian music reach new locations.

These experiences involved planning, negotiation, production, artist support and international partner relations, demonstrating the ability to turn connections into performances and tangible opportunities.

Ed Motta in Paris — 2014

In April 2014, Ed Motta gave two performances in Paris during Sensacional Brasil, an event held at the Jardin d’Acclimatation. The concerts took place on April 12 and 13 as part of a program dedicated to Brazilian culture.

The opportunity began when Amanda, a consultant based in Paris, contacted Árvore Cultural. The company liaised with Valéria, the artist’s manager, and helped coordinate the arrangements for his participation.

Natane represented Árvore Cultural in Paris and accompanied Ed Motta throughout his stay, assisting with local arrangements and artist support. Both performances were contracted and paid in full.

Antônio Villeroy in Miami — Between 2009 and 2011

As part of its international work, Árvore Cultural also helped organize a series of performances by Antônio Villeroy in Miami, during the period when the artist was working on a recording for EMI.

The schedule included three performances: one in South Beach and two at the American Czech-Slovak Cultural Club. The events were organized in partnership with the local Czech-Slovak community, connecting Brazilian music with new audiences and cultural venues.

The experience involved coordination, production and on-site support for the performances, expanding the artist’s international presence and strengthening Árvore Cultural’s track record in creating opportunities abroad.
