Som da Motown

Som da Motown brought together more than fifty songs associated with the history of the record label that helped shape Black American music. The show featured songs by artists such as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, The Supremes, Jackson 5 and Four Tops

Presented at Mackenzie’s Ruy Barbosa Auditorium in São Paulo, the project combined vocals, a live band, dance, costumes and stage production in a large-scale show. With local production by Árvore Cultural, it became a milestone in the company’s work on musical projects within a university setting

The show was conceived and directed by Cláudio Figueira and Renato Vieira
