Uaná Etê | Cultural Gardens, Art and Nature
Art, Nature and Culture in Permanent Dialogue.
Located in the rural area of Sacra Família do Tinguá, in Engenheiro Paulo de Frontin, in Rio de Janeiro’s Coffee Valley, Uaná Etê is an open-air cultural center that brings together visual arts, music, heritage, education, landscape and nature.
Spanning approximately 135,000 m², the site brings together gardens, permanent art installations and pathways that invite visitors to experience contemplation, discovery and a meaningful connection with the surrounding landscape.
Uaná Etê Cultural Gardens Biennial Plan 2027–2028
The plan was designed to strengthen Uaná Etê’s programming, preservation initiatives and public access over a 24-month period, bringing together exhibitions, musical performances, educational activities, publications, collection conservation and accessibility initiatives.
Project currently under development for submission under Brazil’s Federal Cultural Incentive Law (Lei Rouanet).

Open-air performances and musical gatherings connecting artists, audiences and diverse expressions of Brazilian culture.

Over the course of 24 months, the plan aims to expand access to culture, strengthen connections with the surrounding region and establish Uaná Etê as a leading destination for art, education and nature in Brazil’s Coffee Valley.
Árvore Cultural’s Role
Árvore Cultural is responsible for the cultural coordination and development of the Uaná Etê Cultural Gardens Biennial Plan 2027–2028, contributing to its conceptual framework, program planning, preparation for submission under the Lei Rouanet and strategies to support its implementation.
